Jazz Alley hosted singer-songwriter Michael Franks last week to several sold out shows, and I was fortunate to snag a table for his last night in Seattle. I'd never heard him perform live before, and was plesantly surprised that his voice was just how I'd remembered it from his varous recordings...it was as if he was performing in a studio!
