Housing prices climbing with temperatures
We have been having a sizzling summer in Seattle, in more ways than one! Sunshine and warm temps every day! The sun shines on the water and the City just sparkles like the emerald it is! But while temperature have been hot around the rest of the country, too, home prices have not...except for the Puget Sound area. As reported last month by the NWMLS, the median single-family home in King County, WA rose 16% in June compared to June 2005. Even more surprising, condo prices have been rising faster than single-family homes here! Soaring along with the summer temperatures, the median price of a condo in King County increased 22 percent in July, compared with the same month last year. Get 'em while they're hot!
