Taberna del Alabardero

I visited the Taberna del Alabardero twice recently and it was a wonderful dining experience both times! My first visit was lunch, where I shared the paella with friends. Our waiter was Juan, whose service was both friendly and professional. When he learned that my birthday was being celebrated, he brought out tiny pastries with the plate adorned in caramel sauce script spelling out Happy Birthday. In addition we were delighted and surprised with a flute of Cava, a dry sparkling wine that was a total treat! Had such a nice time at lunch that I returned a few days later for a special multi-course dinner followed by incredible Flamenco dancing from a troop of dancers and musicians from Seville. Again, Juan took great care of us, even suggesting that we move to a different table prior to the show, the better to view the dancers' staccato feet! I highly reccommend this fantastic restaurant at First and Batterly in Belltown
